I can't even count the times I've wanted to strangle my vassals for doing stupid crap while I lose an entire castle because the morons went off with 12 troops to chase friggin butterflies instead of guarding the locations I tell them to guard lol Nobody dies, thus the game just drags on endlessly without a "win factor". I think no perma-death ruins the games The kings always have hundreds of soldiers and the player character never will gain power. No more lords and vassals etc going full speed ahead into 100 cavalry with nobody following them. Would drastically change battles as well. Everyone being able to die would make the game extremely difficult. Until the devs smarten up and add Perma-death modes.
